The IPR Journal, published by the Intellectual Property Rights Cell of Government Law College, Mumbai, is a student-edited, faculty-guided academic journal dedicated to high-calibre scholarship in IP law and allied fields including competition law, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and technology policy. Every submission undergoes a stringent double-blind peer review to maintain academic precision and originality.

Eligibility: Open to law students (LL.B., B.A. LL.B., LL.M.), research scholars, academicians, and legal practitioners across India and internationally.
Research Articles
Comprehensive doctrinal or empirical analysis with constructive policy suggestions and rigorous citation.
Essays
Critical perspectives on emerging issues, legislative amendments, or statutory debates.

Analytical breakdown of landmark Indian or international intellectual property judicial decisions.
Formatting & Citation Specifications
- • Citation Style: Bluebook (21st Edition) strictly. Footnotes only (speaking footnotes strictly discouraged).
- • Typography: Times New Roman (Size 12 for Body, Size 10 for Footnotes)
- • Spacing: 1.5 Line Spacing for Main Body, 1.0 for Footnotes
- • Headings: Justified with Capitalized Headings
- • Co-authorship: Maximum 2 Co-authors permitted per submission
- • Originality: Strict threshold below 10% (excluding standard statutory citations)
Submission & Review Protocol
- Manuscripts must be completely anonymized (no author name or institutional identifiers in the document body).
- A separate Cover Letter specifying Title, Author Name(s), Designation, Institutional Affiliation, Contact Number, and Email must be attached.
- Submit in .docx / .doc format via the official IPR Cell submission portal.
- Zero registration or publication processing fee.
